Stephanie Alcaino
Creative Director
Hey there! I’m a multi-disciplinary creative director and photographer on a mission to use creativity as a force for good. I get a lot of joy from making people curious (and even more fired up) about doing good.
For more than 10 years, I’ve partnered with for-good organisations across a range of sectors, including fashion, education, and anti-trafficking.
Right now, I’m leading the creative team at OX FOR GOOD. I also get to help out as a board advisor for Refugee Education UK. Both roles keep me inspired and remind me that good work is always a team effort.

100 Years of

Scope | Branding
Team | Micaela Alcaino
My Role | Creative Strategist, Creative director
In the heart of the Hundred Acre Wood, a silly old bear reminds us that simple joys and steadfast friendships are the truest treasures of all. My twin sister, Micaela Alcaino, and I were tasked with reimagining these cherished children's book covers using the classic illustrations of E.H. Shepard in celebration of the brand’s 100-year milestone.
We intended to help these magical stories shine on shelves, alongside other classics like Peter Rabbit and The Tiger Who Came to Tea.
When we were little, we listened to these tales each night before sleep. We hope these covers hold the same happiness and peacefulness we felt.
No One Walks Alone

Agency | OX FOR GOOD
My Role | Creative Director, copywriter, Art director.
Do men also experience trafficking? If so, who supports them on their journey to freedom? Research shows that stigma around masculinity often prevents both recognition and effective response.
Emmaus supports one of the most underserved groups affected by trafficking: men. Although 36% of trafficking victims are men and boys, less than 2% of organizations in the US support them, and even fewer offer trauma-informed care tailored to their needs.
The brand approached us to help clarify their message and refresh their visual identity, better reflecting their mission: to walk alongside male survivors of sexual exploitation and create pathways to safety, dignity, and lasting freedom.

Humanrace
Humanrace was founded in 2020 by Pharrell Williams with a mission to revolutionise being well through innovative and thoughtfully designed products that transform daily routines into rituals.
“Humanrace doesn't differentiate by race or gender. We're creating for humans; we are all born in the same skin.” — Pharrell Williams
I was asked to capture visuals that would feature alongside their upcoming product breakdowns, helping put transparency and sustainability front and center in their product communications.
Say ENOUGH to child hunger and malnutrition.
Client | World Vision
Scope | Multi-year campaign
Agency | OX FOR GOOD
My Role | Creative strategist, Creative director, copywriter, Photographer
When there is not enough food, a girl is married off to help the family survive. A brother mourns the loss of his sister to starvation. A mother is left choosing which child to feed. A son is forced into labour to help his siblings eat. A father bears the pain of sending his child to bed hungry.
A global hunger crisis is erasing childhoods long before it made headlines. ENOUGH is a bold campaign confronting child hunger and malnutrition on multiple fronts. In Wave I, we spotlighted how hunger devastates children’s lives, capturing the powerful story of Sunday and Blue in Kenya. Wave II exposed the impossible choices parents must make to keep their children alive.
Equipping Young Refugees to build brighter futures
Client | Refugee education uk
Scope | branding
Agency | Oddigy
My Role | brand strategist, photographer
In conflict, schools are destroyed, occupied by armed groups, and used to shelter displaced students. Where learning continues, students and teachers can be targets of violence. For many, continuing to learn is just not possible.
When children and families are forced to flee their homes, they miss out on more education as they make dangerous journeys trying to find a place of safety. For refugees arriving in Europe, education is a priority: it’s how lives begin to be rebuilt and hope for the future is rekindled. But getting back into and progressing in education is fraught with challenge.
Refugee Education UK asked us to refine their strategy, messaging, and visual identity to match their updated name. Our goal was to help the brand highlight how access to education can transform a student’s life and future when they are given the oppportunity to keep learning.
fighting slavery through fashion

Agency | OX FOR GOOD
My Role | photographer
Art Direction By | Jacqui free-sze
Beulah’s story began in 2009, when the founders traveled to Delhi and spent two months in a rehabilitation centre. There, they taught sewing skills to women who had been rescued from the sex trade. As the women learned to sew, they gained opportunities to earn their own income and build independence.
This experience showed the founders how much sustainable employment can change the lives of survivors of trafficking. By providing steady work, Beulah helps women move toward safety and stability. Since then, Beulah has focused on helping vulnerable women by providing opportunities in the fashion industry.
For the AW25 collection, I photographed their seasonal line for both the lookbook and website.
